Hello!
Hope you are having a great week. I certainly am.
This Sunday we welcomed to the world the newest member of our family, my first child, Richard James Sawicka-Parr, known as RJ. He finally arrived (a fortnight overdue!) at 1.56am in London, weighing in at 7.6lbs. RJ and Mama are home and doing well.
He’s already promised to be my bringer in about 16 years time, as long as I improve my jokes.
So now you know why I’m currently taking a bit of a break from Too Far Comedy. But don’t worry we still have a cracking show lined up for you this Monday. And we’ve got a brilliant MC!
Kristian Allman has been killing it on our stage for months now and he will be guiding you through a terrific line up of comedians. Come and join him at the Artillery Arms from 7.15pm!
😂 Far Too Funny List
📺 Watching - I loved the first couple of seasons of the tv show Billions but lost interest after about season 2, is that an error? Should I go back? Anyway, the actor who plays Mafee in the drama is actually a stand-up comedian. And a very funny one. Dan Soder’s special On The Road is hilarious and has over 3 million views on YouTube. There’s lots of silly relatable humour and some really strong bits. Give this a watch.
🎧 Listening - I’ve previously shared Gary Gulman’s 366 Comedy Tips and have recently listened to his brilliant special Born on 3rd Base on Apple Music (Spotify here). His routine on Income Inequality is outstanding with some brilliant writing.
📕 Reading - What's the best way to save your dad jokes? In a dadda-base. Of course, with the birth of my son I’ve been checking out a list of 270 dad jokes that will have the whole family laughing in Country Living (not my normal go-to website, I promise!).
🎤 Where you can see me perform
You can’t for now. I’m taking a little break. But go check out Too Far Comedy on the following dates!

That’s it for now. Hope to see you soon!
