Hello!
I’ve been working pretty hard to freshen up my YouTube channel in the last few weeks. Let me know what you think of the new Thumbnail designs. If you haven’t already please SUBSCRIBE to my channel.
The application form to perform at Too Far Comedy is coming up in this newsletter but first the Funny List.
😂 Far Too Funny List
📺 Watching - Sean Walsh: Is Dead, Happy Now? This is a superb special by the Brighton comedian that you can watch for free on YouTube. It’s a story about the price of fame and fortune. Set in the intimate atmosphere of Angel Comedy’s Bill Murray venue, Walsh’s sharp writing explains how he recovered from PTSD. It’s worth watching alone for a brilliant impression of a very famous British comedian…
🎧 Listening - It took me a season or two to really enjoy and appreciate the show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Mainly because the characters are all so unlikeable and self-centred. But over time I grew to love it. And in the last few years, the guys have made a really popular podcast called The Always Sunny Podcast. This week I enjoyed listening to their interview with their former director Randall Einhorn. From working on Survivor to The Office to Only Sunny and now Abbott’s Elementary, Randall Einhorn has had a hell of a career. He has some great advice on how to conduct a job interview!
📕 Reading - A headline like A Shot at Building a Stand-Up Career in 15 Minutes or Less is always going to grab attention. Yet, it’s mainly about Netflix’s new Verified showcases. As someone who is always looking for new comedy, I’ll definitely give them a watch. There’s also a great line in Jason Zinoman’s piece: “If Netflix is where comics go to make it, then YouTube is where you go to complain about why you haven’t.”

Here we go folks…
The chance to perform at Too Far Comedy this May and June!
We usually book one month in advance but as we don’t run on Bank Holidays we’re only doing 2 shows in May, so it’s easier to book both months now.
As a subscriber to this newsletter, you have a 24-hour head start to complete this FORM for a 5-minute bringer spot. I will then post it on the usual social pages.
Apologies if you don’t get a spot this time. We get inundated and try to make sure we have balanced line-ups.
If you haven’t already, please give Too Far Comedy a follow on Instagram and Facebook!
That’s it for now. Hope to see you soon!
