Hello!
We’re back with another edition of the Far Too Funny List. A smorgasbord of comedy recommendations!
Too Far Comedy is on a hiatus for the next two weeks due to the Bank Holiday and then an event at the Artillery Arms.
We’ll be back on September 9th for more laughs. Spots to perform with us in October will be in this newsletter in a few weeks.
😂 Far Too Funny List
📺 Watching - I’ve just managed to watch Sam Morril’s special: Same Time Tomorrow before it leaves Netflix on August 31. Morril delivers dry and dark punchlines but what I was really impressed with was his ability to seamlessly switch from material to crowd work and back without you even noticing.
🎧 Listening - Two of my loves - comedy and wrestling - combine in the latest Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster podcast. Their guest this week is the AEW British wrestler Will Ospreay. His dream menu is pretty basic but I’d still devour it! Ospreay is wrestling at Wembley Stadium this weekend in AEW’s All In show. Unfortunately, I can’t make it on Sunday but I know a few of you newsletter readers will be there, so enjoy!
📕 Reading - The Edinburgh Fringe is nearly over, but they have already announced this year’s Funniest Joke. Out of the 15 on the list, the winner by Mark Simmons is probably my favourite. Let me know yours in the comments!
🎬 New Video
