😂 Far Too Funny List
📺 Watching - Brett Goldstein became a household name for his role of Roy Kent in Ted Lasso. But as many of you know he has been performing stand-up comedy for years. Well, now he has a special. Filmed with HBO, it’s broadcast in the UK on Sky Comedy. Brett Goldstein: The Second Best Night of Your Life is very funny and very easy to watch.
🎧 Listening - I’m really enjoying listening to stand-up specials on Apple Music at the moment. My latest listen is My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend by Mike Birbiglia. It has a lower joke count than I personally enjoy from one-hour shows but he’s a brilliant emotive storyteller and his jokes are excellent.
📕 Reading - Having enjoyed Catherine Cohen’s special a few weeks ago, I was keen to find some more musical comedians to watch. Live365 has a terrific list called The 20 Funniest Comedy Musicians of All Time. Of course they have a few I already know and love like Bo Burnham and Flights of the Conchords but I’m looking forward to checking out the likes of Stephen Lynch and Ninja Sex Party.
