Hello!
Welcome to this week’s edition of the Far Too Funny List!
If you’re new here, each week I share three pieces of comedy-related content that I find hilarious and/or useful as a stand-up comedian.
I also give updates on what’s happening at the Too Far Comedy night - Mondays at the Artillery Arms in London - including when the application form to perform becomes available.
Plus I keep you up to date with what I’m getting up to on the circuit.
Let’s get to it!
😂 Far Too Funny List
📺 Watching - I was laughing out loud this week to Taylor Tomlinson’s 2020 Netflix special Quarter-Life Crisis. Really funny stuff. High joke ratio and all very relatable.
🎧 Listening - I loved listening to the Always Be Comedy podcast with Joe Thomas. The Inbetweeners was such a fantastic show and it was brilliant to hear his thoughts and approach to stand-up comedy. He’s a really smart guy. I’m keen to listen to more ABC pods. In each episode, the guest devises their perfect comedy night from opener to headliner.
📕 Reading - There’s a nice quick read on latenighter.com called Seth Meyers on the Differences Between Writing for Late Night and Stand-Up. It does what it says on the tin.
