Hello!
It sure felt weird not having Too Far Comedy this past Monday! We’ll be back at the Artillery Arms next year from January 6th.
And that’s where the comedians reading this newsletter come in… The application form to perform with us in January is coming up in this newsletter.
First the Funny List.
Over the next few weeks I’ll be listing your favourite pieces of content I’ve been sharing with you over the last 12 months. Today we kick-off with the top 3 videos you’ve been enjoying!
😂 Far Too Funny List
📺 Watching - Fellow comedian Jack Henison recommended a fantastic YouTube channel called Comedy Without Errors. He told me to start with How to Handle a Heckler. The video is incredible. The level of detail and insight on comedy theory is like nothing I have seen before.
📺 Watching - Writing A Joke With Mark Normand - From Scratch! is a great video on YouTube from the Netflix star. The video style reminds me of someone else who does a vlog on stand-up comedy…
📺 Watching - I was chatting to comedian Abhi Wagle before a gig at Too Far Comedy earlier this year and I was recommending a great video on MCing that I watched before we launched last year. Rather than just send it to him I thought I’d share it on this list. Gary Michaels ran Shtick comedy a few years ago and put together a fantastic two-part series on How to MC a Comedy show. There’s some really good advice that I still use today.
🎬 New Video
For the first time this year I failed to finish the edit of my vlog ☹️. I will have one ready for this Friday, but if you haven’t seen it already: I told Jokes in a Pub for 1 Year is my most popular video of the year. Please subscribe to my channel!
If you want to book me for one of your comedy nights please email me.
It’s time…
The chance to perform at Too Far Comedy this January!
As a subscriber to this newsletter, you have a 24-hour head start to complete this FORM for a 5-minute bringer spot.
80% of the spots will be allocated to those who apply within the first 24 hours. The remaining 20% will be released on social media afterwards. Apologies in advance if you don’t get a spot. We get inundated with applications.
That’s it for now. Have a Merry Christmas!
