Hello!
Okay, don’t Vote for Pedro. Vote for Too Far Comedy!
Voting for the annual Chortle Awards has now opened.
We’ve just celebrated our second year at the Artillery Arms.
I think we’ve built a really supportive night for comedians to try new jokes, with both them and the audience able to head home having had a fun night.
I would love it if you could please vote for us.
To vote, just write “Too Far Comedy” under category “Best open spot comedy night.”
Thank you!
We’ve got more laughs coming your way this Monday. Come join us from 7.15pm.
😂 Far Too Funny List
📺 Watching - Rhys James’ comedy special Spilt Milk was originally for sale on his website and is now free to watch on YouTube (you can still buy it if you want). Shot in the stunning Wilton’s Music Hall there is a lot of very relatable material. Especially regarding New Year’s Resolutions!
🎧 Listening - David Cross is a legend of comedy. I still love his role of Tobias in Arrested Development. He’s got a podcast called Senses Working Overtime. I listened to the episode with The Daily Show star Michael Kosta, whose work I also enjoy. The conversion goes off on a lot of tangents and I agree with Cross’ stance on IPAs!
📕 Reading - There’s a great article in Chortle (Don’t forget to vote!) called How to get over a bad gig. There’s a really interesting list of your questions you should ask yourself after you bomb. Let me know if you give it a go!
