We’re deep in the awards season and it’s not long to go now!
No, not for the Oscars, the Chortle Awards!
The public decides the winners of each comedy category so please vote for us!
Just write Too Far Comedy for “best open spot comedy night”. Voting closes on February 22 so please don’t hesitate. In fact, do it now!
Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Central London on March 4.
Now you’ve filled that in you can apply to perform at Too Far Comedy in March!

😂 Far Too Funny List
📺 Watching - I was flicking through Prime Video and thought I’d take a look at Tom Segura’s special Completely Normal. In a very relaxed style, he talks about why he needs a hobby. Don’t ever stay in the same hotel as him! I also really enjoyed his story of visiting the doctor.
🎧 Listening - One of the other categories for the Chortle Awards is Best Podcast. I hadn’t heard of any of them. So I’m making my way down the list. This week I listened to Three Bean Salad with Mike Wozniak, Ben Partridge and Henry Paker. The episode was mainly about James Bond but these boys love a tangent. And Jesse Plemons. They’ve also built quite the following. Not only can you buy a Three Bean Salad puzzle - which seemingly no one can complete - but they have people argue they are the most radioactive listener!
📕 Reading - I had quite a big writing session earlier this week. I wanted a quick refresher on the different types of jokes I could write so I opened up the article: Every Joke Falls in One of 11 Categories, Says Founding Editor of The Onion.
