Hello!
It was a cracking atmosphere at Too Far Comedy! We’ll keep the party going this Monday. Doors open at 7.15pm at The Artillery Arms.
Just a heads up in next week’s newsletter, you’ll have priority access to the application form to perform at Too Far Comedy in August and September!
Alright, let’s dive right in!
😂 Far Too Funny List
📺 Watching - This week I found an excellent YouTube channel on Stand-Up Comedy called Joke WRLD. There’s a great video called: What the Comedy Cellar is REALLY like. Check it out!
🎧 Listening - Listened to another episode of the Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend podcast. It really does make me laugh out loud every time. This time his guests were Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson who have a wonderful chemistry from their time in Cheers.
📕 Reading - As someone who has started to share his crowd work clips online (to varying levels of success), this article from The Guardian caught my eye: Crowd work is the hottest thing in standup comedy – and not everybody is laughing. Brian Logan does a good job weighing up the pros and cons of posting clips on crowd work.
