Hello!
I heard great things about Monday night’s Too Far Comedy hosted by Stacey Edwards!
We’ve got more guest MCs coming your way in June.
But sadly there’s no Too Far Comedy for the next two weeks. The Artillery Arms has a private event next week and then it’s a Bank Holiday!
😂 Far Too Funny List
📺 Watching - The who’s who of the U.S. stand-up comedy world show up to give their flowers (and great jokes) to Conan O'Brien as he accepts the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at The Kennedy Center. There’s some great, unique performances from John Mulaney, Nikki Glaser, Will Ferrell, Stephen Colbert and Adam Sandler. I thoroughly enjoyed this. My wife said she could hear me chuckling from the other room!
🎧 Listening - The latest special from James Acaster: Hecklers Welcome is available to listen to on Apple Music (Spotify too). Recorded in his home town of Kettering, unsurprisingly his show goes a little off the rails. Especially when Eli heckles him on missing out the last Cub Scout Law!
📕 Reading - Even though I’m taking a little break from performing, I am still trying to write new material. And I’m always interested in finding out how different comedians approach this. Well Neil Thornton’s Comedy Writing Workbook is one of the most thorough free resources I’ve found online. He’s used some terrific sources to put together a very clear, linear process. Comedians, I highly recommend you give this a read.
🎤 Where you can see me perform
You can’t for now. I’m taking a little break. But go check out Too Far Comedy on the following dates!
Too Far Comedy - Monday 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 June | 7.15pm doors
If you want to book me for one of your comedy nights for later this year please email me.
That’s it for now. Hope to see you soon!
